PayByBank is available at all Banks in Greece. In this document, there are screen shots from the online banking of 4 main banks in Greece, that show the steps that need to be taken by the shopper. PayBybank is available through phone banking, bank branch and by cash at service points available on www.paybank.gr/en/map.

Following are suggestions on how the merchant can present PayByBank:

  1. If there is a page describing various payments methods, the following text can be added by replacing any reference to bank transfer. The website should not present to the shoppers the merchant’s IBAN since this will confuse the consumers as to the nature of Paybybank and they will think that Paybybank is not a bank transfer and the merchant will not benefit from the instant bank transfer.

“Instant Bank Transfer
